Ocean Recovery Group

Ocean Recovery Group (ORG) operates out of the Dominican Republic, where there is no recycling infrastructure. To combat the ocean-bound plastic problem in the Dominican Republic, ORG sets up recycling plants and collects plastic to recycling and re-sell it. In past semesters, CSC has helped ORG navigate certification by a Zero Plastic Oceans and suggested social impact and ESG policies. We have provided guidance on their social media presence and conducted research for potential partnerships in the ocean-bound plastic space.

Recycletek

Recycletek is a recycling service company to optimize recycling. The team worked to develop and refine life cycle analysis (LCA) studies.

CSC conducted research on recycling services by gathering primary data from customers and identifying existing data on successful programs. The team worked to convert a LCA spreadsheet into a more user friendly platform like open LCA and app development to quantify consumers' impact.
